'Great Salvage Run 2006' winners announced

Hi Folks,
The Alpha Forge Games ‘Great Salvage Run 2006’ painting and
modeling competition is finally over, and the winners have
been announced! The quality of the entries received has
been extremely good, and it has been a pleasure to watch
them roll in over the past few months.
The winners are:
Supervike’s ‘Desert Rose salvage company’. 1st place winner
(Main category).
Will receive the Alpha Forge Games ‘Demobot trophy along
with a very rare ‘Gorgon Recon Fighter’ prototype model.
Also US$50.00 worth of Alpha Forge Games store credit.

(Second category)
Receives a very rare ‘Gorgon Recon Fighter’ prototype

Third and Fourth places were given to ‘Matakishis Tea
House’ by Matakishi, and ‘Ace and the Eights’ by Taarnak.
Both excellent entries. They will both receive an honorary
US$25.00 in AFG store credit.

Judging was very difficult, as all the finalists submitted
excellent work, but we had to make a choice in the end.
Thanks to all who entered, honorable mentions must go to
Andy Lyon, and Tri3 for sterling efforts. Thanks guys! And
many thanks to anyone else we forgot to mention.
