A highly intelligent alien species encountered recently in the Alpha Hydra (Alphard) binary star system, around 94 light years from Earth. These creatures are only slightly more technologically advanced than humans, and appear also to be no strangers to aggression and war on their homeworld, Hydris Prime. Some of the very recent arrivals on Earth confounded the expectations of diplomats and security officers by absconding into wider human society. Reports have even been made of appearances in disreputable inner megacity areas, as well as participation in covert illegal gangland activities. The motives of these individuals, at present, remains a mystery.
