The Arachnid gun platform is a static, open turret mounted weapons system. It is essentially a well protected seat with a heavy weapon or heavy artillery attached to it. Mounted on a robust tripod, this equipment is primarily used in a static defence role. It can, however, be deployed from a drop ship immediately before landing so that the gun platform can clear the area before infantry disembark.
This version of the Arachnid gun platform is equipped with a 'NOVA bombard' - a heavy artillery weapon that will smush your opponents into little pieces. Just make sure nobody shoots the gunner!
This model also comes with a Hydrissian alien gunner.
